This is an abstinence-based program for patients recovering from substance use addiction. We offer regular psycho-educational sessions covering various topics related to recovery, mental health, and wellness.

John Michael Kimani, PMHNP-BC – facilitates these sessions with the support of addiction Counsellors and other addiction workers. 

Our psycho-educational sessions address the biopsychosocial aspects of recovery including stress reduction, healthy boundaries, anxiety, anger, communication skills, depression, and dozens of other topics to support the needs of clients with co-occurring diagnoses. 

What you should know?

• Recovery Addiction Support is an abstinence-based program. However, we understand that slip ups happen in recovery – if this occurs, we will have someone to support you to get back on course.
• There is no minimum or maximum number of hours that you must attend; this is a flexible program.

While there is no treatment for substance addiction, we have therapy options that can help you overcome an addiction and stay drug-free. These include long-term journeys with the patient to prevent relapse.

• Levels of care and settings that vary depending on your needs, such as outpatient, residential and inpatient programs
